The burgundy is a color that I’ve always loved for my clothes, recently someone gave me as a gift a burgundy-plum scarf  and so I thought … why not take a mascara of that same colour!!
After 15 minutes, during which the salesperson opened every mascara for me just to see the actual color, I bought the new Chanel mascara “The Volume”. I must say that I thought there were more burgundy mascaras around .. since it is the trend of the moment .. but the ones I saw tended more to the purple side than to plum. The coloration of this mascara is, the number 30, Prune. The cost is € 29. These coloured mascaras make me remember that I played, when I was a child, with colored mascara, such as blue and purple – were really inopportune!I should talk about the serious stuff now .. the formula is very liquidy,it tends to color every little lashes giving unique volume and a length. In my opinion tough it is too liquidy .. but I am confident that with time it could dry a little! The color is awesome! It ‘s definitely more visible in the direct sunlight .. but you can still see that is not a black mascara .. neither a brown one! It tends to bring out the green iridescents of your eyes. I think a white primer would make the beauty of this color stand out more, but maybe it would become too noticable!What do you think?
